CPC is hard at work this legislative session to protect Medicaid. Mediciad is a vital state run (and partially federally funded) program that provides health care for those who are living at or below the federal poverty line. Not only does this program provide vital access to health care for those who would otherwise not be able to afford it, but it also acts as an important ecnomic driver for our state. Thousands of health care workers across the state rely on Medicaid to feed their families.
