CPC Wins Prestigious Activism Award

The Society for the Study of Social Problems (SSSP) awarded the Colorado Progressive Coalition its Thomas C. Hood Social Action Award for its work in advancing economic and social justice.

SSSP recognizes community organizations and activists with the Thomas C. Hood Social Action Award, this year that award was given to the Colorado Progressive Coalition (CPC), for its dedication to advancing economic and social justice throughout the state. The award is given annually to a non-profit organization dedicated to challenging social inequalities, promoting social change, and/or working toward the empowerment of marginalized groups.  Representatives from CPC were recognized at the Awards Banquet on Friday.
