CPC's health justice program is building, winning and fighting for quality and affordable health care for Coloradans regardless of income level or immigration status.
We Fight
The
health justice program is leading CPC members in fighting health
insurance companies that continue to put profits before people and
those who strive to cut healthcare benefits from the most vulnerable
among us.

We are fighting to protect Medicaid from disastrous cuts at both the federal and state level.

The health justice program is building a health care system in Colorado for everyone.

We Win
The health justice program has won significant victories in
tearing down the barriers to health care for more than 700,000
Coloradoans, including 200,000 children.

During the 2011 legislative session, we were instrumental in the passage of SB 200, which establishes a state health exchange in Colorado.

We won the battle to protect Medicaid in the 2011-2012 state budget

We helped in securing the passage of federal Health Care Reform in March of 2010.
