About Us
Welcome to the Colorado Progressive Coalition! CPC is a statewide, progressive values driven organization and an anchor for Colorado's grassroots progressive community. We're building Colorado's progressive movement and are a leading local and national voice for civil rights and racial justice, economic justice and corporate accountability, health care for all, environmental justice, and an open and accountable democracy that works for all of us, not just the wealthy or the well-connected.
Formed in 1996, CPC's diverse membership now includes members and activists in 80 towns and cities statewide, 40 community, faith, and labor member organizations representing 250,000 Coloradans, a staff of 18, and offices in Denver, Greeley, and Pueblo. Our members join CPC to build a more progressive future for Colorado and we've won many victories in our 11 years of work. Colorado has changed a lot in this time, and CPC has played a key role in many social justice victories.
On this site, you'll learn how CPC was rated one of the top five groups in the nation for our work to inspire thousands of our Colorado neighbors to vote. You'll also be able to see recent press articles spotlighting our work, get the latest action updates on Colorado's hottest issues, and link to the web-sites of many of our great allies who are working to build a more progressive Colorado.
If you like what you see, we invite you to join us as a member by becoming a member today! Your membership support gives us power and resources that we need to take on powerful right-wing forces and to build a progressive future for Colorado.
Thank you for visiting CPC. In peace,
